This allows an Afriex user to add funds to their wallet.
How do I add cash to my Afriex wallet USA?
Open the app and sign in to your account with a registered email address and password.
Input OTP sent via email or text.
Tap the "Wallet" tab and select "Add Cash."
Click the drop-down arrow to Choose Payment Method
Add a new debit card/interac email and click continue, if none has been added previously. Newly added card will be verified instantly through the app.
Click "send now” button and select newly added card
Input amount and click on review
Click “confirm button”
Input the transaction PIN to complete the process.
How do I add cash to my Afriex wallet Nigeria?
Open the app and sign in to your account with a registered email address and password.
Input OTP sent via email or text.
Tap the "Wallet" tab and select "Add Cash."
Input amount and click continue.
Click on “pay with mono”
Choose your bank. If you can’t find your financial institution, scroll down and select “ click here “ Input institution name and email address, click request connection. We will notify you when the institution is added successfully.
Input your bank app login details and click continue,
Follow the next prompts depending on the financial institution selected.
Confirm amount, and complete process.
Click continue to return to the wallet screen.
Alternatively add cash via transfer:
Open the app and sign in to your account with a registered email address and password.

Tap the "Wallet" tab and select "Add Cash."
Input amount and click continue.
Copy account information and transfer from your bank account
Click “i have sent the money” to display a successful screen.
Click continue to return to wallet.

Click continue to complete the process. A small, temporary charge may appear to verify the card, which will be refunded..
Click “send now” to return to send screen.
How do I remove a card from my Afriex account?
Open the app and sign in to your account with a registered email address and password.
Input OTP sent via email or text.
Navigate to the "Wallet" section.
Click settings icon
Click payment method
Click on the payment method you want to delete and slide left
Select delete button
You will be asked to confirm the removal.
Click on continue
Once the card is successfully removed, it will no longer appear in your payment methods.
What if I can’t remove my card?
If you encounter any issues while trying to remove your card, ensure you are using the latest version of the app, uninstall and reinstall the app. If the issue persists, contact support for assistance.
Are there fees associated with each payment method?

Can I use multiple payment methods for a single transaction?
Splitting a transaction across multiple payment methods can be done if you have existing funds in your Afriex wallet. You must choose one method for each transaction to proceed.

The charge is usually refunded to your account within a few days, depending on your bank’s processing times. Some banks may take up to 3-5 business days.
Why do I see multiple verification charges?
If you attempt to link your card multiple times, multiple verification charges may appear. All verification charges will be refunded once the card is successfully verified.
What should I do if the verification charge isn’t refunded?
If you don’t see the refund after 10 business days, contact support with your transaction details.

How do I cash out from my Wallet?
Go to the wallet tab and click the “Cash Out” option in the app, input the amount and select your preferred withdrawal method, review and send. Cash out feature is available depending on your region.

Wallet balance shows you your balance in the different currencies available in your wallet.

This error occurs when a transaction or attempted action exceeds the current balance available in your wallet. It means that the requested transaction amount is higher than the funds you currently have.
How can I resolve the "Wallet Balance Exceeded" error?
To resolve this error, ensure your wallet balance is sufficient for the transaction by either reducing the transaction amount or adding more funds to your wallet.
Why am I seeing "Wallet Balance Exceeded" even though I have enough funds in my bank account?
Wallet balance is separate from your bank account balance. You’ll need to transfer funds to your wallet first to cover the transaction.
What should I do if the error appears unexpectedly?
If the error appears and you believe you have enough funds in your wallet, try refreshing the app or logging out and logging back in.
Can I still proceed with the transaction after receiving this error?

This enables you to convert between currencies. You can swap with any currency for which you have funds readily available. E.g., if you have funds in your naira wallet, you can swap them for USD, and they will be deducted from your naira wallet and added to your USD wallet balance. The conversion rate is dependent on our rate at the moment.
