Why can't i send to my virtual account?

We’re currently updating our virtual account system and experiencing a short downtime. All users who were previously issued a USD and EUR account will be getting a new one soon as we switch to a new banking partner, and you’ll be able to receive payments just like before.

 In the meantime:

  • Any new deposits to your current USD/EUR Global account will automatically fail and be refunded to the sender.

  • If you didn't get an automatic refund, please contact your bank.

  • Your funds are safe, nothing in your wallet is affected.

  • You can continue to use all the other features in the Afriex app.

  • We’ll notify you the moment your new account is ready.
