Referral status

Referral status shows you two different statuses. The first one is Pending, which shows you everyone you invited who has yet to initiate transactions, which can make you eligible for a bonus. The second is Fulfilled; it shows you all your referred contacts that you have received the referral bonus for.

How Does Referring A Friend Work?

Afriex is currently offering the opportunity for customers to earn a bonus for every transaction made by friends they invite. You earn $0.25 USD on every transaction over $100 USD through the referral program if the following criteria are met:

• Your friend uses your referral link to sign up for their Afriex account.
• Your friend makes a qualifying payment.

In order to qualify, the payment must meet three simple criteria:

• It must be at least $100 USD for every transactionIt must be funded by a bank account, card, or partner account or wallet.
• Eligible transactions are only for the first three months that your friend signed up.
• Excludes same-currency transfers.

What Is The Highest Amount I Can Make From Referring My Friends?

As a referrer, you can earn up to $100 in referral bonuses on the transactions made by the friend you invited during their first 3 (three) months. Additional terms apply.

How Fast Do I Get My Bonus When My Friend Signs Up And Initiates A Transaction That Qualifies?

If your friend has used your referral link or username to sign up and make a qualifying transaction, you should receive your bonus within 48 hours, but it may take up to 5 business days. Your friend’s payment needs to meet four simple criteria:

• It must be at least $100 USD.
• It must be funded by a bank account, card, or partner account/wallet.
• Excludes same currency transfers.
• Eligible transactions, meeting the requirements set above, are only for the first 3 (three) months that your friend signed up.
• You’ll also receive a notification when your friend successfully completes the criteria for your bonus.

How Can I Share My Referral Link?

You can invite your friends to sign up for Afriex.  Go to the “Rewards” tab by selecting the present icon, and tap “Invite friends.” From there, you can choose to share your link by message, email, or social media, or have the option to manually paste your link or code into a different communication of your choice.

My Friend Invited Me, How Do I Sign Up And Start Earning Too?

When your friend invites you to Afriex, they should have provided a referral link or code via email, text message, or social media. You can click on this link and sign up for a personal Afriex account. 

Also, if you refer someone else to Afriex, and they sign up via the link and make a qualifying payment, you’ll receive $0.25 USD in your Afriex account. That payment needs to meet three simple criteria:

• It must be at least $100 USD.
• It must be funded by a bank account, card, or partner account or wallet.
• Eligible transactions are only for the first nine months that your friend signed up.
• Excludes same currency transfers.

Terms And Conditions

By participating in the Afriex referral promotion (the "Program"), you agree to the following terms and conditions ("Terms"). Afriex may, at any time and in its sole discretion, without prior notice and at its own expense, terminate, cancel, suspend, or modify the program or these terms. If you are the person who invites friends to participate, you are a "referrer" under these terms, and if you are a person who receives an invitation, you are a "referee."

Eligibility And Overview

You may participate in this program as a referrer until the program is terminated or modified by Afriex. If you refer a referee prior to Afriex’s termination or modification of the program, you and such referees will still be eligible to earn the reward described below, even if the referee does not fulfil the Reward Criteria (defined below) before such termination or modification.

To be eligible to earn rewards through the Program, each referrer and referee must have (or sign up for, in the case of referees) an Afriex account in good standing (“Valid Account”) at the time of participation through when his/her reward(s) are issued.

A referrer may refer a referee by sending them an email, text message, or social media post that includes a link to participate in the program, as provided by Afriex (“Invitation”). Each referee must complete all the following steps (“Reward Criteria”) within fourteen (14) days of the date on which the referrer’s referral link was created U.S. Pacific Standard Time):

Sign up for a valid account for the first time via the link sent by the referrer. To be eligible, the referee’s phone number or email used to sign up cannot have been previously associated with an Afriex account.  Signing up for a Valid Account may require certain actions to verify the valid account and is subject to the Afriex User Agreement.

Use the “Send” functionality to make a bank- or card-funded payment of $10 USD or more via the Afriex app.

Limits on Referrals: Referrers may only earn rewards for the first nine months of transactions, starting from the date when the referee first signed up. Afriex may disqualify you from participation in the program on suspicion of any fraudulent behavior as defined by Afriex. And any successful referrals will be void, at Afriex’s sole discretion. If two or more referrers invite the same referee, Afriex will credit the reward to the person who has their invitation accepted first, as determined in Afriex's sole discretion.

Reward: The reward of $0.25 is sent to the valid account that qualified for the reward. Rewards should be posted to your valid account within approximately 24 hours, but it may take up to 5 business days.

Receiving And Using Rewards

Afriex reserves the right to limit, cancel, delay, or revoke a reward if Afriex determines, in its sole discretion, that an Eligible Participant has violated these Terms or the Afriex User Agreement or has acted in a fraudulent or abusive manner, or if Afriex restricts or closes their valid account pursuant to the Afriex User Agreement.

Afriex may provide an alternate reward of equal value if it is unable, for any reason, to fulfill the reward. Reward redemptions are final, will not be returned, and are subject to review and verification.

Afriex is not responsible or liable if any email, reward, referral, or program-related materials or correspondence are lost, fraudulent, abusive, stolen, late, incomplete, illegible, interrupted, delayed, altered, defective, misdirected, tampered with, or irregular in any way, or if any participant's e-mail address, valid account, or other contact information fails to work, is deleted, or is changed without prior written notice to Afriex.

The program is void where prohibited or if an Eligible Participant’s accounts or transactions are fraudulent, abusive, not completed through legitimate channels, in violation of these terms, or irregular in any way.

By participating in the referral program, you agree that Afriex may disclose customer information about you to persons who refer you to Afriex or whom you refer to Afriex.

Governing Law: This promotion is governed by California law. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the Afriex User Agreement. Any questions relating to the offer will be resolved at Afriex’s sole discretion, and its decisions related to the offer will be final and binding.
